Email Writer Assistant is a Chrome extension that helps users compose emails with the help of AI. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

## 1. Information We Collect
We do **not** collect or store any personal user data.

The email content you write is only temporarily processed for generating suggestions via our API at `https://aiemailrply.onrender.com`. We do not store or analyze this data after the response is generated.

## 2. Permissions
This extension only requests the minimum permissions required to operate:
- `activeTab`: to detect and operate within the Gmail tab
- Host permissions for Gmail and our own backend server

## 3. Data Usage
All data stays on the client-side except for the specific email draft text you explicitly submit for AI assistance, which is sent securely over HTTPS to our backend. No tracking or analytics scripts are used.

## 4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not share or sell any user data to third parties.
